Playwrights Invited To Submit Plays For 2018 Season

Playwrights are being invited to submit their work to C&D Productions theatre company as they look to plan their 2018 theatrical season.

C&D Productions, a theatre company based in Kettering, Northants are currently planning their 2018 and have invited playwrights to submit any plays or musicals to them for consideration. Artistic Director Chris Lynch said 'C&D are very much focused on helping to develop original work and also provide a platform for aspiring or published playwrights to have their work recreated on stage'. He continued 'We are looking for full length productions to stage locally, however due to our fringe theatre performances being planned we would also be interested in shorter one act plays too'.

Last year the theatre company staged an original retelling of the mystery behind Jack The Ripper, which was written by Sophie Mort and Imogen Ray. The production was staged in Kettering and was highly praised by audiences who came to see it around Halloween to tie in with the theme of the play.

Anyone interested in submitting work can email admin@cd-productions.co.uk with any questions or queries. Those submitting are asked to provide a brief play synopsis and if possible a character list.
